About Us

John Muir High School Early College Magnet aspires to excellence as a student-centered, comprehensive high school that is well known for its long-standing history of academic excellence, extra-curricular activities and community involvement.

We also offer college courses through Pasadena City College, Advanced Placement, honors, support courses in language arts and mathematics, special needs offerings.

John Muir High School Early College Magnet is proud of its student engagement beyond the classroom. Our students are involved with their peers outside of the school day in one of our various sports teams, community service organizations, and academic and interest-based clubs.

There are many ways that parents are able to be part of the school Parents serve as volunteers in many aspects of campus life and enjoy open communication with the school including Back to School Night, School Site Coordinating Council, PTSA, parent college/career forums.
