Mr. Ryan Flores
Mr. Flores teaches Math 3, Precalculus, AP Calculus, and Digital Electronics at John Muir. He started teaching as a sub teaching in both Garden Grove Unified and Whittier Union Unified, however, became a full-time teacher at John Muir in 2015. Mr. Flores attended Purdue University where he recieved his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, UCLA for his Single Subject Teacher Credential Program in Mathematics, and Cal State Los Angeles for his Masters of Arts in Education - Curriculum and Instruction. He is a devoted father of two dogs. He enjoys going to the gym and keeping fit when he has time. He is fascinated by the real estate market (and other financial markets). Other trainings that Mr. Flores has participated in are: The Engineering In Training Exam which is the precursor to the Professional Engineering Exam, PLTW Training - El Camino College - Intro to Engineering Design, PLTW Training - San Diego State - Digital Electronics Design, Single Subject Teaching Credential - Mathematics, and CTE Teaching Credential - Engineering Design and Manufacturing. Mr. Ryan loves his colleagues most of all. He could not ask for a better group of people to work with.
