Junior Year Timeline

August: Sign up for free lunch if you qualify

If you plan to play sports in college be sure to apply for the NCAA clearinghouse, visit the website and inform your counselor.

September: Put together a list of 10 colleges that you would like to attend, and research them

October: Take the PSAT

November- February: Continue researching colleges, attend workshops and seminars, investigate financial aid and scholarships.
Meet with your counselor to ensure that you are on track for graduation and college

March: Register for SAT Reasoning and/or ACT

April: Register for SAT Reasoning and/or ACT

May: Compile information, essays and references for scholarships. 
Take SAT Reasoning and/or ACT
Sign up for summer school or night school if needed

June: Take SAT Reasoning and/or ACT
Sign up for summer school or night school if needed
